Ottumwa -- The Indian Hills softball team will open its home schedule on Tuesday, Mar. 13, when the Warriors take on the William Penn JV in a doubleheader starting at 4:00 p.m. at Hellyer Field on the IHCC Ottumwa campus.
The Warriors will be playing for the first time since returning from their season-opening southern trip with a 4-8 record.
The William Penn JV is taking the place of Marshalltown CC on the Warriors’ schedule. The Marshalltown team was involved in a traffic accident in Oklahoma over the weekend.
Indian Hills will travel to Carthage, Mo. this weekend to play five games in a tournament there. After Tuesday, their next home action will be Mar. 24 when they open conference play against Muscatine CC.
